I store a 2.5l water container in the bladder compartment and it works quite well for forming a bit of structure. Although, these trousers are nice and lightweight, they are made from a durable fabric for the main part and the 4-way stretch on the seat and knees, all of which has a durable water repellent finish, a sun protection of SPF50+ and even two way opening vents on the legs so you can be ready for any weather! I'd prefer some big zips at the bottom of the legs so I don't have to remove my boots before putting them on/off.
