About this deal

Used Record or Second-Hand Record (from House of the Marionettes, あやつりの屋敷 Ayatsuri no Yashiki), a story about people fighting over the ownership of a record that has a singer's singing as they died recorded on it. I’ve read this book multiple times and, as a Frankenstein obsessive, I’m happy to say that it stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Danny Boyle’s stage adaptation as the best interpretation of Shelley’s original novel.

Greased: nunca mas vere al aceite de manera normal. Que tipo idiota es Goro, cree que la solucion radica en tratar mal a los demas par sentirse mejor. Que relato tan raro y macabro. 2/5 It tells the story of a private girls’ school, lorded over by a principal and his wife, a woman who believes herself the Virgin Mary reincarnate.

Fashion Model

As a brief member of the Japanese Communist Party, Dazai could be seen as the anti-Mishima. His legacy as a wartime writer and post-war author is legendary, and No Longer Human is often touted as his masterpiece. Imagine your balloon headed doppelgangers hunting you the moment you step out of your house? i cant imagine , i am already shit scared. The concept was exceptional. Again i cant with this man , his brain is just wired differently then rest of us.

There is nothing overtly grotesque or monstrous about this story. It’s all about the concept and the narrative.

TKO Presents ‘Graveneye’ is a chilling horror story

How did they get there? How long have they been there? Who carved them? How is that even possible when they were in the Earth’s crust? What would it mean for humans to become the true puppets? Ito doesn’t just ask this question but answers it with unnerving scenes of human beings going about their days ensnared in wires, supposedly controlled by figures who are always out of sight in the dark of the ceiling. What would it mean to move about as a human puppet, and how would one’s physical strength and general health be affected? Ito takes a supernatural premise and ponders its tactile implications, making the story feel all the more unnerving and close to home even as it fully embraces the fantastical. Another reason that Junji Ito’s Cat Diary is so unique is that it is one of the most unique uses of Ito’s own imagination and approach to horror art. The story centers around two hospital patients suffering from seemingly psychological maladies. The first, Mami, is a young woman whose unidentified illness fills her every waking moment with the dread of death. The other patient, Mukoda, claims his dreams elongate each night, as he feels days and months slipping by from just a normal night’s rest. It’s no secret that Junji Ito’s writing, art, and, design style have all been heavily influenced by the mind and works of H.P. Lovecraft.

If you’ve ever done a passive search for Ito, or if you’re already a big Ito fan, then you will have seen all the jokes and memes that have grown out of this story. In Sensor‘s first chapter, Kyoko Byakuya finds herself at the foot of Mount Sengoku, amidst the gentle falling of golden volcanic hair. Shivers, also titled Coldness and The Chill, is the fourth chapter from volume 7 of the Horror World of Junji Ito Collection, Slug Girl.

What happens when a fashion model(creepy looks and disgusting smile??) starts following amature filmmakers? This was obvious and creepy. Until reading this collection, Junji Ito existed as a myth. His intense, otherworldly horror stories had created this singular presence that was known even among the biggest manga newbs. Got to admit that the unflinching focus on schoolgirl or teenage girl protagonists seemed very pervy, eventually (but he does draw them beautifully!) In these stories giant faces of real people appear in the sky with nooses dangling from them, and they then try to find and hang the person whose face they have. Or people get a disease where you get holes all over. Ito takes that Lovecraftian approach to the wide open unknown and runs with it in this story. The Thing That Drifted Ashore presents us with an enormous, impossible, strange creature.
