Secret 2D Treasure: This Power Moon is in the same area as Power Moon 32 below and, strangely, you'll actually find number 32 first. Follow the instructions for that Moon below, and then continue making your way through the 2D area. Eventually, after jumping through some rotating structures, you'll find a green pipe. Enter this pipe to be taken to an area underneath the starting position where you'll find a second Power Moon. Found with Mushroom Kingdom Art (see location 25): Inside Peach's castle, look at the wall in the top-right of the ground floor to find some hint art. It shows the Cap Kingdom - so fly there, and walk from the Odyssey to the first bridge in front of you. You'll need to line up the large, hat-looking tower with the moon behind it, so that it perfectly re-creates the picture (take note of how much of the moon is visible in the picture). When you're in the right spot, perform a ground pound to discover a Power Moon. As one of the Smithy Gang, Claymorton can be pretty tough, especially with his group, but thankfully has a glaring weakness you can exploit with Mallow. Use Thunderbolt when he has his men assembled, and try for the timed hits by pressing A when you see the straight line of three lightning strikes, and you should be able to clear out the entire group of Bodyguards in a single hit! Gardening for Toad: Garden Seed: Just to the west of the Toad's garden in the east of the Kingdom, you'll find a seed. Take this seed to Toad's garden and throw it into one of the plant pots there - if you wait a while, it will sprout into a fully grown plant containing a Power Moon.

Marrymore hidden treasure (Frog Coin) Image: ArtePiazza/Nintendo via Polygon Immediately after, you’ll be ambushed by an enemy Goomba, which is Toad’s cue to clue you in on Action Commands. If this is your first time playing Super Mario RPG (or it’s been awhile) let Toad show you the ropes. Mallow also has a special ability called Thought Peek (formerly Psychopath in the SNES version). This will let you view an enemy’s current health and many more of their weaknesses. If you timed your A press right when the spotlight centers on the target, you’ll also be able to read their thoughts, which will get added to a Monster List you can access in the menu.Head upstairs at the inn/item shop and go into the bedroom. Jump up on the shelves for this chest. Use the nearby ledge to jump on top of it to access the first hidden treasure in this room. Take this seed to Toad's garden in the east and throw it into one of the plant pots there - if you wait a while, it will sprout into a fully grown plant containing a Power Moon. At the save point after the room with the green switch, jump in the corner for ... a measly mushroom. It’s the last hidden treasure and it gives you a single, plain, mushroom? Yep. Secret Path to Peach’s Castle!: For this Power Moon you'll need to enter the Mushroom Kingdom from a warp painting located in the Luncheon Kingdom. Head there, and make your way to the Remote Island in the Lava in the northeast. On this small island, walk down the steps on the right-hand side of the island and jump into the painting - you'll find yourself at Yoshi's house. Use Cappy to put out the fire and wall-jump to the top of the chimney to find this Power Moon.

The Castle is notable for being primarily inhabited by Toads. The primary currency of the Mushroom Kingdom are purple Star Coins; however, they also accept regular gold coins. However, it's extremely rare for tourists to be permitted to see them, due to some undescribed danger, and casual visits are discouraged. Places to Relax [ ] The area features the Castle Grounds and Peach's Castle, both of which are specifically based on their appearance in Super Mario 64, as they have a similar layout (including the castle grounds, first-floor interior, and courtyard), and an arrangement of Inside the Castle Walls plays while inside the castle itself. Mushroom Kingdom can be first seen by traveling through a painting in the Luncheon Kingdom, which leads to Yoshi's House on a floating platform away from the main area.
